HELLO THERE…

Hi there! I’m happy you’re here…It finally happened, I pushed “publish”. I pretty much don’t have a filter so let me elaborate. When I say it “finally” happened, I mean I’ve been staring at this little button for three weeks. Is the site ready? Do I have all my content lined up? Will anyone even read this? I know I am not the only one who has that little voice in the back of their head, so I said who cares and here I am. Living a bit outside of my comfort zone, but thats where life begins, amiright?

I’m not new to writing or journaling, but I am new to putting it all out there on an organized (sort of) and pretty platform. This space is everything I wanted it to initially be and theres a whole lot of room for growth which makes the future super exciting and something to look forward to. I wasn’t really sure blogging was going to be the thing for me… I entertained the idea a couple times after a few people asked me about one and I gave it a ‘hard no’ several times too. But, over the last couple years in the social media world,I found myself sharing things that people really appreciated. I consistently found my inbox with questions about meals I had prepped and shared, how I plan my week, compliments for being open about the highs and lows of life, sharing quirky mom moments along with some scary ones too, and simply just people wanting to connect. I have literally connected with more people online I have never met in person in the last year than I even thought was possible and simply because I’ve been raw and honest…. and that my friends is when this site was born.

I am a wife + boy momma + sister + daughter + friend + realtor living on the Gulf Coast of Florida with my cute little family and our two dogs and I’m over here winging it too. My husband and I met in college at a summer job and after one night of amazing sushi that he wouldn’t let me pick up the tab on (yep, tried that), he stole my heart and I’ve never looked back.

I’m a big family girl… like if I could have my whole family over every Sunday night for dinner and cook a three course feast with wine on the side, I would… But, considering they live all around the country — we enjoy our time as much as we can. I love to cook, love good conversation and an even better bottle of wine.

This journey such is life is exactly that, a journey. This space is a place to share and connect. Here you will find things like my favorite weeknight meals, my DIY projects, my favorite pair of jeans, takeaways from life lessons, momspiration, and more…. this space is a journey and I am here to embrace it. I am not perfect and definitely not an expert at anything, but I am real and honest and I’m excited to see what path this journey takes me on. So here we are… I hope you’ll visit often and we can chat. I’m here to inspire and be inspired and I’m feeling pretty good about this chapter…
